This temple dedicated to Lord Shani is known as a 'Jagrut Devasthan,' meaning that Lord Shani himself is present in the form of a stone idol. According to astrology, Shani Saade Saati is often considered adverse and is divided into three phases of two and a half years each. At the same time, the Mahadasha of Shani lasts for 19 years.
