For this reason, performing the Pitru Dosh Nivaran Puja in Mahadev’s city of Kashi is considered highly effective. According to the Garuda Purana, offering Shradh at the Pishach Mochan Kund for one's ancestors holds great significance. Additionally, it is believed that by performing Ganga Aarti of Moksha Dayini Maa, the sins of a person are washed away, the soul of ancestors gets peace and salvation is attained.
