This Maha Anushtan will last for 12 hours and will be conducted by six experienced Brahmins with utmost devotion to ensure that every moment is filled with Lord Vishnu’s blessings and divine grace. According to the Skanda Purana, Lord Satyanarayan is a form of Shri Hari Vishnu. The legend of Satyanarayan Vrat has been given great importance in the Puranas. The glory of Satyanarayan Katha was narrated by Lord Satyanarayan Himself to Narad Muni.
It is mentioned in the scriptures that reciting Satyanarayan Katha yields results equivalent to the Yagya performed for thousands of years. It is believed that performing this Katha on the auspicious Vijaya Ekadashi brings happiness and prosperity to the home, thereby maintaining the blessings of Lord Vishnu. On the other hand, the Vishnu Dwadakshari Mantra is not just a mantra but a Mahamantra of Lord Vishnu. It is believed that by the influence of this powerful mantra, the devotee can attain their desired results. Similarly, Sudarshana Homa is a sacred fire ritual dedicated to Lord Sudarshana, the fierce and protective form of Lord Vishnu, symbolized by the Sudarshana Chakra, a divine disc with powerful energy. It is believed that performing this homa blesses devotees with protection, blessings, and overall well-being. Performing all these three rituals together is said to bless devotees with material well-being and promote emotional well-being.
