Somvati Amavasya Gaya Special Pitru Dosha Nivaran Puja for Peace of Ancestor's souls and Resolving Family Disputes

In Hinduism, Somvati Amavasya holds special significance. When Amavasya falls on a Monday, it is called Somvati Amavasya. According to scriptures, Somvati Amavasya is considered highly auspicious for religious rituals. On this day, along with the worship of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, performing Tarpan and Shraddh for the peace of ancestors is also considered auspicious. According to astrologers, on the day of Amavasya, ancestors come to earth from Pitru Lok and are pleased with the religious rituals performed by their descendants and give their blessings. It is believed that performing Pitru Dosha Nivaran Puja on Somvati Amavasya brings peace to the souls of ancestors. According to Hindu religious texts, 'Pitru Dosh' is caused by the unfulfilled desires and negative deeds of ancestors. It is believed that a person suffering from this dosha has a series of financial problems, tension and disputes in relationships and health related problems in his life.
This is the reason why even in the Puranas, Moksha Sthali Gaya has been considered highly effective for Pitru Dosh Puja. In Hindu rituals, Dharmaranya Vedi is counted among the Panchtirtha Vedi, so performing Shraddh here for the ancestors has more importance. It is believed that performing Pitru Dosha Nivaran Puja at this place gives peace to the soul of the ancestors and blessings are received from the ancestors to resolve family disputes. Therefore, on the auspicious occasion of Somvati Amavasya, Pitru Dosha Nivaran Puja will be organised at Dharmaranya Vedi in Gaya. Participate in this special Puja through Sri Mandir and get the divine blessings of your ancestors to get relief from the inauspicious effects of Pitru Dosh.

Pind Daan has special significance in the city of Gaya located in Bihar, which is also known as Bodh Gaya. Performing Pind Daan and Tarpan at this place is believed to grant salvation to the ancestors, which is why this sacred place is also called Moksha Sthali (place of liberation). It is believed that apart from Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh, all the gods and goddesses reside here. The importance of Gaya is highlighted by the fact that on the banks of the Phalgu River, King Dasharatha's soul was pacified, and Shraddha rites and Pind Daan were performed for his salvation. The city of Gaya is also mentioned in the Vayu Purana, Garuda Purana, and Vishnu Purana.
The process of Tarpan and Pind Daan, which has been practised for ages, continues today at the Pind Vedies located around the sacred land of Gaya. According to the Skanda Purana, during the Mahabharata war, Yudhishthira performed Pind Daan at the Dharmaranya Pind Vedi for the peace and repentance of the souls of those who were killed. In Hindu rituals, the Dharmaranya Vedi is counted among the Pancha Tirth Vedies. It is believed that performing Pind Daan and Tripindi Shraddha at the Dharmaranya Pind Vedi holds special significance. These rituals performed here are said to liberate one from ghostly influence and grant salvation to all ancestors.
