Shri Annapurneshwar Mahadev is located in the Mahakal Forest Area in the free Annakshetra of Mahakaleshwar Temple. It was established by Acharya Mahamandaleswar Maharaj Shri Vishwatma Nandji Maharaj, the Peethadhishwar of Atala Akhara, 29 years ago, with the desire that the grace of Mother Annapurna should always remain in the Annakshetra and that the food in the Annakshetra should not be exhausted.
