Navratri Maha Navami Shaktipeeth Special Divya Mahakali Tantrokta Havan and Kali Kavach Path for Courage and Protection from Obstacles

In Sanatan Dharma, Navratri holds special significance as the nine forms of Goddess Durga are worshipped during these nine days. Each day of this auspicious occasion is dedicated to a specific form of the Goddess. The ninth day of Navratri, known as Navami, is considered very important. During Navratri, in addition to Goddess Durga, there is also a ritual to worship the ten Mahavidyas. According to scriptures, the ten Mahavidyas are also forms of Goddess Durga and are considered the bestowers of all Siddhis (spiritual powers). Among the ten Mahavidyas, Maa Kali is the foremost and is associated with the Kali Kula. According to Puranas, Maa Kali embodies the power of Lord Shiva's Mahakala form. The Brahmanila Tantra describes Maa Kali in two forms: the blood-red Kali known as Sundari and the black Kali called Dakshina. Her name, Kali, originates from her black complexion, which resembles Kajal. It is believed that the worship of Maa Kali is highly effective in destroying negative energies and boosting self-confidence.

Maa Kali is worshipped through various rituals, including the Divya Mahakali Tantrokta Havan and Kali Kavach Path. It is believed that performing this puja is considered highly beneficial. Because they are a sacred fire ritual and recitation of a mantras dedicated to Maa Kali, is believed to seek her blessings for courage and protection from obstacles. It is believed that performing this puja during Maha Navami with devotion, is believed to attain fearlessness and protection from negative energies. This puja will be conducted at the Shaktipeeth Maa Tarapith Temple in West Bengal. According to legends, before the universe's creation, Maa Kali existed as darkness. To begin creation, she manifested as the radiant Maa Tara, initiating the formation of nature. Thus, worship of Maa Kali is especially significant at the Shaktipeeth Maa Tarapith Temple in West Bengal. Participate in this puja through Sri Mandir and receive blessings for courage and protection from obstacles.

According to ancient stories, the origin of Maa Tara occurred at the time when poison emerged during the Samundra Manthan, and Lord Shiva consumed it. This act rendered him unconscious and left him in a perilous state. It was during this critical juncture that Maa Kali emerged as Maa Tara and breastfed Lord Shiva, which then calmed the burning sensation in his body. Maa Tara is considered to be another form of Maa Kali.

Maa Tarapith Temple dedicated to Maa Tara is Located in West Bengal’s Birbhum district. It is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, described as being seats of divine feminine power or Shakti. Some stories purport that the third eye or the eyeball of Sati had fallen here. Various parts of Sati's body are said to have fallen all across South Asia during Lord Shiva's Rudra Tandav (devastating dance) following Sati’s self-immolation at Daksha’s yajna where she and her husband were disrespected. Worshipping at this temple removes all kinds of crises from the lives of devotees.
