🔱 Pitru Paksha is the ONLY time of the year when our ancestors descend to Earth. This is your one sacred opportunity to serve the Pandas in Moksha Teerth Gaya and grant deep satisfaction (Tripti) to your ancestors across countless lifetimes.
🐚 During Pitru Paksha, your ancestors are wholly dependent on your seva. Any Seva you provide to the sacred Pandas is believed to be accepted directly by your ancestors themselves, and its divine merits (Punya) will benefit you even beyond this lifetime.
📜 According to the Garuda Purana, when the great warrior Karna reached the heavens, he was served only jewels and gold for food. This was because while he had donated immense wealth on Earth, he had never offered seva in the name of his ancestors. As a result, his own Pitrus wandered hungry and thirsty, and he, in turn, had to face a similar plight. To rectify this, Karna was granted the chance to return to Earth for all days of Pitru Paksha. He performed Shraddh and offered food, water, and other sevas to finally bring peace and satisfaction to his lineage.
📿 When this Seva is performed in Moksha Teerth Gaya, its spiritual significance is amplified a thousand-fold. Gaya is the only pilgrimage across the three realms that grants complete and final liberation (Moksha), for it is the sacred abode of Lord Vishnu Himself, the ultimate protector of the Pitrus.
Whatever you book in this service, it is not just your service - your participation helps us to reach this pious work to more people. This contribution is not that of an individual, but is part of a collective service.
Sankalp Seva means taking a vow to worship God on more than one day for a special wish or purpose. It can be done on specific days or festivals. With regular devotion and faith, this seva brings peace of mind, confidence, and blessings from God.
Mahaseva is a very virtuous and fruitful donation, which has been mentioned repeatedly in the Vedas and Puranas. When a person performs the highest acts like food, clothing and grains with devotion and selflessness, it is called Mahaseva. This donation not only destroys the sins of the donor, but also satisfies the ancestors, gods and sages and liberates him from the bondage of karma of many births!
