📖 What connects Baglamukhi, Bhairav and Hanuman?
📙The Rudrayamala Tantra reveals that Shiva-Shakti are inseparable along with their fierce manifestations. The Shiva Purana states that Hanuman is an incarnation of Lord Shiva's eleventh Rudra avatar.
🔱 Maa Baglamukhi, the 8th Mahavidya, is described in Devi Bhagwat Purana as the fierce manifestation of Adi Shakti who grants the power to neutralise enemies and stop destructive forces. She had emerged during a time of a destructive storm and turmoil to halt the chaos itself.
🕉️ Kaal Bhairav, as described in the Shiva Purana, is the fierce manifestation of Shiva appointed as the guardian of cosmic order and time (Kala). He had emerged to remove the ego of Brahma and is therefore the enforcer of karmic justice and protector of Shaktipeeths.
💪 Hanuman, as described in the Skanda Purana says that when Hanuman returned after burning Lanka, his body blazed with uncontrollable anger. Lord Rama created a water stream at Chitrakoot (now Hanuman Dhara) to cool Hanuman's Rudra energy. This establishes that Hanuman carries Shiva's fierce power, just as Bhairav does.
