Diwali Ghar Vapasi Ram Janmabhoomi Special Ayodhya Deep Utsav and Saryu Aarti for Blessing of Overcoming Evil and Harmony in Family

🚩The first Diwali of Ramlala after the consecration of Ram Janmabhoomi 🚩

Diwali is an ancient Hindu festival celebrated on the Amavasya of the month of Kartik. Known as the festival of lights, it is also referred to as Deepotsav. There are several stories explaining why Diwali is celebrated. Different beliefs about Diwali are found in the Skanda, Padma, and Bhavishya Puranas. One main reason is that on the night of Kartik Amavasya, when Shri Ram returned to Ayodhya after defeating Ravana and rescuing Mata Sita, all the people of Ayodhya lit lamps in their homes to celebrate his arrival. Since then, this day has been celebrated as Diwali. This victory is regarded as the triumph of dharma over adharma and the power of truth. Lord Shri Ram is referred to as Maryada Purushottam, as he upheld justice and truth, sacrificing personal happiness in the process. Because of these qualities, he is called Maryada Purushottam. He played the roles of an ideal king, brother, husband, and son, maintaining love and harmony within his family.

It is also believed that just as Lord Shri Ram eliminated the adharma represented by Ravana, he removes evil from the lives of his devotees. To celebrate this victory, this year, the Ayodhya Deep Utsav will be organised along with the Saryu Aarti. The Saryu Aarti will take place on the banks of the Saryu River, where lamps will be lit, symbolising light and joy. The Saryu River is a witness to the incarnations of Lord Vishnu, especially Shri Ram. According to the Ramcharitmanas, the Saryu River is so sacred that simply taking a holy dip in it grants the merit of visiting all pilgrimage sites. Therefore, on the auspicious occasion of Diwali, the Ayodhya Deep Utsav and Saryu Aarti will be held at the Shri Prachin Raj Dwar Temple in Ayodhya. This temple is considered one of the tallest temples in Ayodhya, and it is said that Shri Ram, Sita Ji, and Lakshman Ji passed through this temple during their exile. Participate in this special ritual through Sri Mandir and receive blessings for controlling evil and fostering harmony in your family.

Shri Prachin Raj Dwar Temple, Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh

Shri Prachin Raj Dwar Temple, Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh
Shri Prachin Raj Dwar Temple, situated in the Ramkot area of Ayodhya, which is known as the City of Lord Ram, is considered one of the tallest temples in the city. It is said that Lord Ram, Sita, and Lakshman passed through this temple when they went into exile. The Ramkot area is believed to have been the palace or royal court of Lord Ram. Since this temple served as the main entrance to his royal court, it is known as Shri Raj Dwar Temple. Lord Hanuman, a devotee of Lord Ram, guards the main entrance. Today, we know this place as the popular Shri Hanuman Garhi Temple in Ayodhya. Shri Raj Dwar Temple is regarded as the focal point of the city.

It is believed that the current structure of Shri Raj Dwar Temple is approximately 900 years old. The reconstruction of the present temple was carried out by the former king of Ayodhya, Maharaja Maan Singh. Lord Ram, Mata Sita, and Lakshman began their 14-year exile from this gate, and upon their victory in Lanka, they re-entered through the same entrance.
