The temple is named Triyuginarayan because signs of three yugas (eras) can be seen here, symbolizing the divine connection of Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva, and Goddess Parvati.
Within the temple complex, there are four sacred water tanks (kunds): Rudrakund, Vishnu Kund, Brahmakund, and Saraswati Kund. The water of these kunds is considered highly pure, as it is believed that the deities bathed in them during Shiva and Parvati’s wedding.
