Hindu Scriptures tell us that even the Gods once faced a crisis when the fearsome demon Raktabija could multiply from every drop of his blood that touched the ground. As despair grew among the deities, Maa Durga manifested her fiercest form - Maa Kali -from her third eye. With her dark form, blazing eyes, and a garland of skulls, she devoured every drop of Raktabija’s blood, ending his terror.
