According to the Valmiki Ramayana, the mere recitation of the sacred Aditya Hridaya Stotra can resolve many of life’s troubles. Similarly, the Ram Raksha Stotra in Sanskrit is highly beloved by Lord Shri Ram. This stotra was composed by Rishi Kaushik, and its mention is found in the holy Hindu scripture, the Valmiki Ramayana. It is believed that by reciting this stotra, one quickly attains the blessings of Lord Shri Ram. As suggested by the name of the stotra, the Ram Raksha Stotra protects us from all obstacles, evils, and fears. The stotra comprises 38 shlokas (verses) in Sanskrit. These verses describe the benevolent form of Lord Ram. It is believed that by reciting this stotra, one constantly receives the blessings of Lord Ram. Therefore, on the auspicious occasion of Vijaya Dashami, Ram Raksha Stotra Path, Aditya Hridayam Puja and Havan will be organised at the Shri Prachin Raj Dwar Temple in Ayodhya. This temple is considered one of the tallest in Ayodhya. It is said that Lord Ram, Sita Ji, and Lakshman Ji passed through this temple on their way to exile.
