On the other hand, Gangotri Dham is located on the sacred land of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. It is believed that the stone on which King Bhagirath meditated still exists here and is known as Bhagirath Shila. It is believed that anyone who performs puja at the Ganga Ghat in Gangotri Dham on the auspicious day of Ekadashi receives the blessings of Maa Ganga.
