Additionally, in this temple, Devi Mahakali is present alongside Devi Mahalakshmi and MahaSaraswati. Eight kilometres above this temple lies a divine rock known as 'Kalishila'. According to Devi Bhagwat and Durga Saptashati, after slaying demons like Raktabija and Shumbha-Nishumbha, Devi Bhagwati in her Mahakali form reached this very place. It is believed that worshipping Maa Kali along with other Mahavidyas in this Tantra Peeth blesses devotees with mental and physical strength. Saturday is considered sacred in the scriptures. On this day, many deities are worshipped, including Mata Kali. It is said that devotees who wish to please Maa Kali should perform special worship of the goddess on this day.
