Shravan Saturday Shani Shingnapur Special Shani Saade Saati Dosha Nivaran Mahapuja and Shani Til Tel Abhishek for Prevention of Misfortunes and Adversities

In Hinduism, Shravan is considered a highly auspicious and important month for gaining blessings from Mahadev, the controller of the universe. It is believed that performing puja during this favourite month of Lord Shiva, removes the Grah Doshas. The Shani Shingnapur Temple in Maharashtra is considered the world's biggest Shani temple. This temple of Lord Shani is known as the 'Jagrut Devasthan', meaning Shani Dev himself resides here in the form of a stone idol. According to religious beliefs, performing Shani Puja and offering Til Tel at this ancient temple can provide relief from the effects of Shani Saade Saati. According to astrology, Shani Saade Saati is often considered unfavourable, with its impact divided into three phases of two and a half years each. During the initial phase of Saade Saati, Shani affects the mind of an individual which may cause financial and emotional challenges. The second phase of Saade Saati is considered the most challenging which can bring physical troubles. Its consequences can also affect an individual's family and professional life.

In the final phase of Shani Saade Saati, a person may face various struggles, affecting them physically, mentally, and financially. Various types of worship are performed to reduce the malefic effects of Lord Shani, among which Shani Til Tel Abhishek and Saade Saati Dosha Nivaran Mahapuja are considered extremely effective. Just as each deity has a special day, Saturday is dedicated to Lord Shani, and on this day, performing the Shani Saade Saati Dosha Nivaran Mahapuja and Shani Til Tel Abhishek are considered highly fruitful. Therefore, participate in this puja through Sri Mandir and attain the special blessings of Lord Shani during the auspicious month of Shravan.

Shree Shanidev Temple, Shani Shingnapur, Maharashtra

Shree Shanidev Temple, Shani Shingnapur, Maharashtra
The Shani Shingnapur Temple is nestled in Ahmednagar, 65 kilometres away from Shirdi. Lord Shanidev is worshipped at this temple. The temple is believed to be a "jagrut devasthan", meaning that a deity still resides in the temple. According to mythological stories, about 300 years ago, a black stone was discovered near the Pansanala River. When the locals touched it with a stick, blood started oozing out of it. Later that night, Lord Shani appeared in the village head's dream, claiming it as his idol. Lord Shani had one condition that the stone shouldn't be enclosed, so the temple remains without walls or a roof to this day.

Apart from the temple, Shingnapur is a small village known for the fact that there are no doors on any house in the entire village, yet there is no theft in the village. It is believed that the village is protected by Lord Shani, and thieves cannot steal in the protected village, and anyone who attempts theft receives divine punishment. Lord Shani bestows special blessings on the devotees who worship here.
