Diwali Nishit Kaal 'Shaktipeeth' Wealth Special Shree Shree Dakshina Kali Mata Mahanisha Pujan, Stotram Path and Havan For Abundance of Wealth and Year-Round Prosperity

In Sanatan Dharma, Diwali holds special significance. Diwali, the festival of lights, is celebrated with immense joy and enthusiasm across India. According to beliefs, after fourteen years of exile, Lord Ram, along with Lakshman and Maa Sita, returned to Ayodhya after defeating Ravan. The people of Ayodhya welcomed them by lighting diyas (lamps). It is believed that this is when the festival of Diwali began. On this auspicious day, people also worship Maa Kali. It is believed that worshipping Maa Kali on Diwali brings blessings from the financial crisis and protection from negative energies. Hence, this auspicious day is considered highly fruitful for worshipping Maa Kali. It is believed that Maa Kali, the beloved of Mahakal, appeared in her Dakshina and Vama forms, known as the ten Mahavidyas. In Hindu scriptures, Maa Dakshina Kali is considered a fierce incarnation. There are various reasons for Maa Kali being named Dakshina Kali, the first of which is that Dakshina Murti Bhairav worshipped her, hence she came to be known as Maa Dakshina Kali. Therefore, worshipping Maa Dakshina Kali on Diwali holds significant importance.
According to another legend, Yamaraj, the god of death who resides in the southern direction, flees upon hearing the name of the goddess, which is why she is known as Dakshina Kali. It means that Yamaraj, the god of death, whose kingdom i.e. Yamalok is situated in the south direction, also stays away from the devotees of Maa Kali and after death, Yamdoot does not take them to Yamalok. Therefore, it is believed that by performing special puja of this form of Maa Kali, one can receive blessings for abundance of wealth and year-round prosperity. If this puja is performed during a specific auspicious time (muhurat), its benefits are believed to be multiplied. On Diwali, the Nishit Kaal Muhurat falls between 11:57 PM to 12:47 AM, which is considered the most auspicious time for this puja. Therefore, during the auspicious time of the Nishit Kaal on Diwali, Shree Shree Dakshina Kali Mata Mahanisha Pujan, Stotra Path and Havan will be organised at Shaktipeeth Kalighat Temple located in West Bengal. According to legend, this temple is one of the 51 sacred Shaktipeeth, where the right toe of Maa Sati fell here, when Lord Shiva was performing Tandava with her body. Therefore, participate in this special puja through Sri Mandir and receive the blessings of Maa Dakshina Kali for abundance of wealth and year-round prosperity.

Shaktipeeth Kalighat Temple, Kolkata, West Bengal
The Kali Ghat Temple, located in Kolkata, West Bengal, is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas in Hinduism and is considered a highly significant pilgrimage site. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali, revered as the deity of power, energy, and destruction. According to mythological tales, it is believed that here, the right toe of Goddess Sati fell when Lord Shiva was carrying her burnt body and performing the Tandava dance in grief. For this reason, this place is included among the extremely sacred 51 Shakti Peethas. The temple houses an idol of Goddess Kali in a fierce form, where she is seen standing with her right foot on Lord Shiva's chest, adorned with a garland of soft skulls around his neck, holding some axes and severed heads in her hands, with some skulls tied around her waist. Her tongue is protruding outward with drops of blood dripping from it, made of gold.

The current temple was constructed under the patronage of the Saborno Roychoudhury family & Babu Kaliproshad Dutto, with construction starting in 1798 and completing in 1809. The Kali Ghat Temple holds immense religious and cultural significance. For centuries, it has been a centre of attraction for devotees who come here to fulfil their wishes. Worship of Goddess Kali at Kali Ghat liberates devotees from fear, negativity, and malevolent energies, bringing peace, prosperity, and success in life. Additionally, the temple is a symbol of Bengal's cultural heritage and hosts grand celebrations during religious festivals, especially Durga Puja and Kali Puja.
